Hush Puppies

My Mama gave me this recipe and she got it from her best friend, Sarah Ann Aycock. Short, but sweet! (The recipe... Sarah Ann isn't short, but she sure is sweet!)



2 cups Corn Meal
1 cup Flour
1 T Baking Powder
1 sm Onion, chopped
2 Eggs
1 t Sugar
½ t pepper
½ cup Buttermilk

Mix. Drop by teaspoon fulls in deep fat. Store in frig.

    1. I use black pepper... sometimes cayenne to spice it up. Use which ever you like and as much as you like. :-)
