Sausage Gravy

1 lb. sausage
1 onion, diced
6 tbsp. flour
4 c. milk
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Saute sausage and onion together. Add flour and stir. Add milk. Stir. Cook until gravy has a smooth and thick consistency. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Serve over biscuits.
